What should you do if your QuickBooks file is corrupt?

Steps To Run QuickBooks Verify Tool

First close and then reopen your QuickBooks file.

Select File-> Utilities-> Verify Data.
After running Verify tool, you may receive any of the following message:

QuickBooks detected no problem with your data: your QuickBooks contractor company file is not damaged.

Your data has lost integrity: It means your QuickBooks contractor company file is damaged and needs to be fixed and we recommend you not attempt a repair on your own as you could completely destroy the entire QuickBooks contractor file.
