Written by Randal DeHart | Wed, Mar 07, 2012

When You Own - A Construction Company sometimes it can feel like the weight of the entire world is on your shoulders.Everyone Needs Someone - To talk too and we understand what you are dealing with between a tough economy, employee issues and tax bills.

A Contractor Called Me Recently - And we spoke at length about his situation. He gave permission for me to share a summary of my recommendations to him because his story applies to a lot of contractors during these tough times.

The Following Is - A snapshot of some of our discussion:

Your Story Moved Me Deeply - And that is not easy because I too have been involved in construction most of my life and because I understand what you are going through. The good news is you have tried some things and learned some lessons.

Congratulations On Picking Yourself Up - And going again! Most contractors have at least one major setback during their lifetime and the one’s that pick up and go again are much more likely to succeed in a big way.

I Will Share A Powerful Insight With You:

  1. In School - We learn a lesson and take a test….in the contracting business we take a test....and then we learn a lesson.

  2. In School - If you fail the test there is rarely an opportunity to repeat the test.

  3. In The Contracting Business - We repeat the test, over and over and over until we learn the lesson.

  4. During Your Time Of - Owning and operating your contracting business you will have many lessons to learn and the quicker you learn them the more money you will earn and less pain you will experience.

  5. When The Student Is Ready The Teacher Will Appear" - This is an old proverb and I have no idea where it originally came from; however, the simple meaning is at least four levels deep.

There Are Many Ways -To learn the contracting business and the most popular method is to get into your own head and figure it out for yourself.

The Easier Way Is Get A Mentor - If you cannot to have dialogue with one in person then then read what they have written and use these pages as a starting point: Click Here To Read About The Four Types of Contractors and The Three Type of Construction Workers and Strategy then finally The 80/20 Rule.

Next Read The Articles - And blogs http://www.fasteasyaccounting.com/blog/

If You Invest Serious Time And Effort - And follow these instruction you will get my attention as somebody who is serious about their business and perhaps we can spend some time at NO-CHARGE mentoring you with some basic consulting:

1. Read some or all of the blogs and write a comment on them

2. Click on the +1 button if you see something you like

3. Fill out the contact forms and download the information

4. We have spot where you can say “Not Yet” and nobody will contact you

Finally Understand - There is a force operating in the Universe and It is there to support all of us from the greatest and most highly successful to the very least among us.

Which Statement - Makes more sense to you? "God is on our side" or "We are on God's side". There is no right or wrong answer, simply each person has their own opinion. Mine happens to be the first one divides people and the second one brings people together.

Even Though We Have Yet - To meet in person as of this writing, March 06, 2012, I consider you to be a brother in the family of construction men and women.

And I Declare For The Entire World To Know - That I believe you and every other honest, hardworking and decent man and woman serving in the construction industry deserve to be wealthy because you bring value to other people's lives!

Please Leave A Comment - And tell me what you think about all of this
